Gunite is pneumatically applied concrete, shot through a hose at high velocity onto a steel rebar cage, forming a fully custom, dense concrete shell. It has no shape limitations, lasts 50+ years structurally, and holds its value better than fiberglass or vinyl. Fiberglass pools are limited to pre-molded factory shapes and typically show their age after 15 to 20 years.
